Do people even read this anymore?
Man, it's been a while since I've updated. I honestly feel like I have nothing interesting to say anymore. So I'm in Richmond, Virginia right now, and it's hot as hell here. It's crazy... I can't believe I'm actually living here. Things are weird for me right now. I don't know if it's the transition, or if it's just Virginia, but I feel very lonely right now. It's been tough for the past week or so. Things are finally sinking in and it scares me to death. I wish I had a firmer grasp on how my life is going to turn out, but right now it feels so unsure. I started looking for real jobs recently -- sending resumes out to various biotech companies. For the meantime though, I've been working at Starbucks. I'm getting really tired of hearing "you moved to Virginia to work at Starbucks?" and "way to use your college degree!" Yeah, my self-esteem has been at an all-time low for a while now. Granted, life isn't ALL that terrible right now, but I still feel poopy. I guess I can do right now is just see where everything will go.
