Holland and Germany Travel Update

So I went to Holland which was so beautiful and for most of the day it was warm and amazing. In hindsight, I think Pat would have actually enjoy it and he could have been my personal photographer and pillow. Its a long trip up to the Netherlands from Germany. The traffic in the Netherlands is awful, especially since that day was a flower parade and we were near Amsterdam. First we went to afarm that made cheese and wooden shoes it was pretty interesting. I made sure to buy plenty of cheese for Pat. Then we headed off to Keukenhof to see the flowers. I got some great pictures of the flowers. I took almost 200 total.

The weekend before the weather was nasty and tried to ruin our plans but Pat decide he wanted Greek food anyway, so we went over to Thalichtenburg to our favorite place and it was still cloudy and a little rainy but we headed up to Burg Lichtenburg to take pictures , hope to go back when it is nicer, besides its an excuse to get more Greek food. Then that Sunday we went back to the Wildpark and it was so amazing because there were even more adorable babies animals.

I did some research and found that there are a few castles really close by including Frankenstein, Falkenstein, and Nanstein. So hope to explore those soon too. I want to go to the Kaiserlautern Japanese Gardens, but I have to talk Pat into it, he hates trying to drive in Ktown, we always get lost. The other thing we are going to do before moving is to head over to IKEA in Mannheim and get some more cool stuff to decorate and organize since we are getting PCS (i.e. the gov't is paying to move us). Besides its fun to go to IKEA. Not sure what order we are going to do all this but that the narrowed down list of what I want to do.
