Leave it to the owls to switch around my housemates without telling me. I don't recognize one of them, but the others are definitely Virginia and Sano. May as well make the best of this situation.

I think I'll make some breakfast for everyone.

*As the water continues to rise, Raine is stranded up in a tree. Earlier, she was documenting and mapping the second half of the forest when she became stranded. Now she's surrounded by water and clinging to her paperwork*

Let me see... I have all the materials I need for Statistics, Archaeology, and Latin. Next, I'll have to get my lab kit together... That way I keep all my grades up. But, that won't leave me any time to really tutor anyone. I'm also failing gym class.

Wait, I'M FAILING GYM?!

I was taking a nap in the forest yesterday and I woke up to eggs. I was literally surrounded by many colorful eggs! Judging by the colors used, this must be some sort of spring tradition. One burst open in my hand and covered me in perfume!

Another one had shards of used crayon...?

*In the forest, there are several excavating tools just strewn about the floor. Raine is in a tree branch, well above her archaeological dig. She's sleeping peacefully, her bushy leopard tail swaying lazily. She yawns and stretches, going back to bed. The dig can wait a few hours while she takes a nap, right?*

I am at a loss for words. I don't know what's worse: that I'm some unknown animal or that I live near the ocean. Now I have a craving for seafood... Oh, no... I hate those owls.

*It takes her quite a while to fight with herself about going into the water. With a giant sigh, she slides into the ocean in search of food.*

So many recipes and so little time! Which one should I start with? Maybe I should start a cooking science journal for those interested in the chemistry behind food!
