Home, sick

I got up this morning with full intention to go to work, but I'm feeling like such crap that I looked at my calendar, and when I found it empty, decided to just stay home.  I've had a sore throat (of varying intensity) for a week, but when I look in my mouth, it doesn't look particularly red, tonsils aren't particularly swollen, and there aren't any white patches or anything... And some minor congestion.  Then, Sunday night, Monday, and today, nausea added itself to my symptoms.  I was up for hours on Sunday night/Monday AM feeling like I was going to be sick although I never was.  Then Monday kept myself to a pretty safe diet - saltines, apple juice, apple sauce, and tea.  Unfortunately, I had to teach SIX classes at the dojo last night, for a total of five hours on my feet and talking.  They went reasonably well, but my throat was killing me by the time I got home.  Showered, went to bed, and slept the night, but woke up this morning feeling sick to my stomach in a way where I don't want to be far from a bathroom.  UGH.

Meanwhile, Allan (karate instructor) is very ill with some respiratory thing, so who knows when he'll be well enough to teach classes again, and Nathalia has MBA classes tonight, which pretty much just leaves me to teach...  I'm only previously scheduled to teach the last three classes tonight, but I had written Allan last night to tell him I could take the day if he wanted or needed me to.  Now I'm really hoping he doesn't.
