“Faith is not a tangible thing; you cannot see it or touch it. You have to just believe. Life is an empty journey without faith. If there is nothing greater beyond this life, what is the point of living it at all? It would be a dead end path without another life beyond it.
It requires an intelligent, rather then an intellectual man to possess faith and to believe in a higher being. An intellectual man must have testable scientific proof. But this is a foolish view to have. There are many other things in this world that we observe that we do not have actual proof of: love, social tendencies. An intelligent man recognizes this because he can look and question beyond pure facts and intellect. Life is not based on facts. What is most important is feelings and emotions that cannot be proven or disproved.
Even if there is no life after death or a higher being, it is still beneficial to possess faith. It aids to this life as well. In difficult times you can escape and or overcome situations by turning to your faith. It is a shoulder to lean on that will never turn on you and that is stable. Faith is everlasting.”
