My father-in-law passed away a year ago. On the anniversary, some of the family got together to make sandwiches and goodie bags for the homeless.

When I had posted the prompt I thought about the "Memorial Hall" round the corner from me, so walked there last week to take the photo ... only to find it's called a victory Hall!  However I still took the photo, as on the front is a memorial stone ...

This is my ofrenda, a memorial to our lost family and friends. It's not done as I don't like to put the food out too early and don't like lighting the candles before I do that. However, since that would be until October 21st, I thought I'd best post this now.
