This! Is! SPARTA!!!
Okay, so I finally saw "300" last night. Most definitely fabulous. Truly abmazing. I was seriously waiting the entire movie for that one line, "Tonight we dine in HELL!" And I almost burst out laughing when it finally came, because I thought of the icons people made (back when the movie first came out) where they captioned it, "I forget where we are dining tonight!" But yeah, it was pretty good, considering it was a war movie. It helped that lots of the guys were half-dressed and had fantastic abs. That was very nice.
And now I feel like I can finally join those who yell, "SPARTA!!" at weird moments. ^_~
Today, I got bit by a young black ratsnake. It really didn't hurt. It was like being pricked by thorns while picking blackberries. I think he was just afraid I'd come to shove another catheter down his throat to give him medicine.
Also, I felt very stylish. I got to wear a lovely pair of forest green waders (the kind that look like overalls with boots attached) and climb in a turtle exhibit to clean. The boots were definitely way too big, and the whole thing was meant for someone about a foot taller than me. I think it shall be infitely more difficult for me to be embarrassed now, though, since I wore that in public, and people saw me. I mean, people other than the ones I work with. They laughed, but y'know, that was expected. That's how we roll in SPARTA!!Living Collections.
PS- If anyone visits the museum in the near future, you should check out the Northern Water Snake exhibit! I put it together. ^_^ It's all my work!! :-D I'm quite proud of it. The snake likes to hide under his little bark thing, so if you want to see him, just look there. He's probably chilling out, away from the lights. And so far, he hasn't tried to burrow into the substrate! :-)
