I keep thinkin' back to an episode of Beavis and Butthead where they were in Driver's Ed, watching a video of a crash.. and Butthead says, "Whoa! His brain fell out!" and Beavis pipes in with, "This is your brain. This is your brain on the street.".. I dunno why but I find that endlessly amusing every time. My luck, some years down the road, I'll be in a wreck, and they'll use the footage for a Driver's Ed video and some high schooler'll say that, about me. Sigh.
I wonder if my brain would bounce away from the car or just land with a soft splat.
I wonder why I'm even wondering that.
Last night, I finally had all the ingredients around to make my first protein shake.. chocolate flavored. It was, surprisingly, really good. Tasted chocolatey and all.. though it doesn't substitute for real chocolate but.. eh. The old protein supplements used to be pure torture to down.. and were gritty on top of it. I felt a little ill after drinking this one, but I'm pretty sure it's because I'd ate 3/4 of a box of family size macaroni and cheese. God damn. I think it amounts to six cups or something? I was about to start rolling around on the couch like a bloated cat.. but I persevered! Sat around on my ass and kept trying to call Tim.. he got me lotsa stuff for Christmas so I tried to call to thank him, but I've been getting this message about, "My call was forwarded to a messaging center," or some bullshit. Bah! I could call his home phone but that risks a chance of Das Weibchen picking up. So. I'll have to just keep trying.. erg.
