Depressed. Seriously.

I have just checked the requirements for the Online Application for Masters (Coursework) of Language Studies in NUS. I think I am qualified; my average is higher than the minimum grade requirement (which is just B or 2.0), and my four-year course in UPD is the equivalent of their Honours year. When I looked at the concentration subjects of the Masters program, I saw that I am prepared for the subjects--- several of them are just advanced subjects of the undergrad classes I took in NUS last semester. Of course I am not saying that it would surely get it. I just think that I have a decent chance of getting it given all these.

The deadline for applications for the August intake is on January 15, 2009. I am ready to apply. In fact, I am already filling out the online forms.

But everything shattered into tiny, deeply-wounding pieces.

For them to honour my application, I would have to show a proof that I have a scholarship or a private sponsor to make sure that I can pay for their S$14K+ annual tuition fees. That's around PHP500K.

Bakit ba masamang maging grepa.

nus, future
