Thank you for saving my hope for humanity.
Just when I think that I have reached my limit, when I think I can't take anymore. When I truly start to believe that the world is filled with mindless simpletons, and that I'll go mad from it all... they call.
The oh so few who have the brains to realize... I'm a person. I have no hidden agenda. I have no desire to mislead them. And I actually do want to help them with whatever issue they're calling in about.
Last night I got a call from a very nice lady. Not only did we laugh, and chat, but she acknowledged that she had trouble keeping up with her bills. It was the most fun I'd had on the phone since that one time... never mind.
I took the time to really thank her, and let her know that it's callers like her that make up for all the insane fucks that call in.
After my posts of how horrible people can be, I wanted to post about a good one. We have to remember why it can be fun to talk to hundreds, if not thousands, of people a week or we'll burn out.
