Oh, fandom.

I had one of the worst possible mornings. Got up an hour too late, nearly missed the bus because of the damn snow that kept falling all day. (Seriously, I want Spring and I want it now.)

Then the majority of the people in my class were lazy bastards, one of the guys was really fucking childish and Semantics makes no sense at all. During the first lecture we had in that course, I joked that its slogan should be "There is no spoon" and you know what? I was right. I seriously don't understand that man's logic, and he's terrible at teaching it. I mean, how can you say that the word "slither" doesn't inherently say anything about the manner of the movement? The mind boggles.

But then I got home and found that I had received a CD (LotR love!) from zooz, changed to some dry clothes and sat down to watch the slide show. And wow. So many pictures that I'd loved and then forgotten again, and so many that I'd never seen before. And she'd even included clips of Elijah glomping Orli and Dom trying the good old yawn, stretch, lay arm around shoulder trick on Billy (another thing I'd completely forgotten). So thank you so much, you've completely saved my day week month. *grins*

Things I have (re)learned:
- Viggo likes trying to lick people
- Elijah likes to glomp people
- LotR actors don't mind intimate contact at crotch level
- Dom and Billy like looking deeply into each other's eyes

LotRiPS. Oh, 'tis a thing of beauty. *sighs*

Also, I may or may not be fangirling Top Gear. Not saying. Nuh-uh.

*whistles innocently*

Isn't it just typical that Sofie goes ahead and posts fic while I'm trying not to read any? This whole writing thing is a very fragile thing for me. It doesn't take much to make me completely lose inspiration/enthusiasm, so I don't want to risk anything. *sighs* But I so want to read!

The fic, by the way, will have to be split into separate parts. Two investigations + character interaction takes up a lot of space. I'm having a great time, though. :-)

A big chunk of my flist is apparently busy in RL. It's an odd feeling. Like your voice sort of echoes in a big room, you know? Oh well, leaves more time for studying.

Oh, and here's a comparison of Jane Eyre and X3 Jean Grey, with spoilers for both. And it's really interesting. *nudges you*
