BEDA DAY 26: Kutztown Renaissance Faire
I bet you've been wondering what I've been so busy with, haven't you? Well, it's time for the Kutztown University Renaissance Faire Day One post! WOOT. Complete with pic spam, as you've come to expect.
The best find of the day was this booth.
Yeah, that's right OCTOPODS AND NINJAS. Now, it is WELL KNOWN that I hate fish, but I will always have a SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART for cephalopods. That is because they are not fish. I still don't want to EAT THEM, that would be gross, but they are KEWL. I have had an obsession since I was a wee little thing and discovered GIANT SQUID. This was LONG before anyone BELIEVED in them and the only resources I could find were cryptozoology books.

I also sang a little song for the Extremely Talented Ninja Creator. That is just how I roll. Would you like to hear it? Um, well, then you will have to sing it to yourself, but here are the words.
"There's a NINJA in my pocket and there's nothing you can do about it. Ninja in my pocket. Nothing to do about it. Ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, HYAH!"
In the same way that adding "in my pants" to book titles makes them BETTER, adding "ninja, HYAH!" to ANY SONG EVER makes it instantly better. Try it, you know you want to.
After the ninjas came the squirrels.
We BARELY escaped with our lives.
A rogue merchant rescued us. Remember that game Whack-a-mole? It went kinda like that.
And then there was merriment!
After Faire was over, there was more merriment at Snargles or Snuggles or Suzephones... I can't quite remember the name...
Six ladies + one guy in a kilt = photo opportunity and MUCH HAPPIER GUY.
While we waited for our food I brought out my new friend, Septy the Eighth.
and then my battery died.
UEG: I think we are far enough along now to safely say that this is not going to work. Four more friggin' days. *grumble grumble*
