Surprise Party Part I

My birthday was on Friday. I had the day off as in lieu for working the previous Saturday. But even though it was my so-called day off I was still roused quite early from my wonderful sleep. But that was just fine since I was used to waking up early anyway (even on weekend I am roused before 9 in the freakin' morning!).
My parents, siblings & in-law greeted me a happy birthday throughout the day. It was just a normal day. That night I decided to watch Pirates of the Carribean At World's End with my parents, sister and a couple of her friends (whom I happen to be friends with too).
You'd think that on its 3rd week the movie'd lost its opening day lustre, but nooooooooooo. We got to the cinema and ended up buying the 10 o'clock showing as opposed to the 9 o'clock showing we all agreed to watch coz we were told this third installment in the Pirates movie's quite long. But nooooooooo. Everybody still wanted to watch the movie so we were bumped to buying the 10:00pm tickets.
Anyway, we decided to stick around the cinema for an hour as opposed to leaving. At 9:30pm we decided to go in to the theater and find good seats. Well 'lo and behold! The line up was long too! The six of us got split up; Mom, Papa and I ended up sitting together while Krysle and her two friends ended up sitting together away from us.
Anyway, regardless of us splitting up once we were inside, we watched and enjoyed the movie (from where I sat I could hear my sister and her friends laughing at certain parts of the movie while the others in the theater just sat there not getting what the hell the damn joke was -- damn, lame people!). After the movie my folks went home ahead of us and I dropped off my sister's two friends. That was how I capped off my birthday.
Little did I know that the following day I have a surprise waiting for me...
