New servers

It's been a couple of weeks since we migrated to the US version on WoW and the server that we're on right now, Jubei'thos in Oceanic, has been nothing short of awesome!

Compared to Europe, the people here are very willing to lend a hand. And I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I play a very hot Blood Elf Priestess... LOL But who knows... they might actually think that it is some geeky girl behind the keyboard. *shrugs*

So I thought having a level 80 druid clearing the Dead Scar so that I could pick up Spinal Dust and Rotting Hearts and then having him send me 100 wool in my mail would be the peak of my experience, a level 80 Palladin ran my fresh Orc Hunter through Ragefire Chasm. As he plowed through monsters and elementals, I was picking up whatever dropped. When he realised that I was carrying 3 Linen Bags (6 slots), he passed on to me 4 Netherweave Bags (16 slot) and let me have them. Of course, I was all O_O WTF?! Who gives away crap like this? Turns out he was a Bruneian teenager on holiday... -_-;

I'm not too clear on the ethics of giving away stuff for free but I felt slightly guilty... like I totally didn't deserve to be treated so well. I was expecting my journey through WoW would be wrought in challenges and limitations. I should be cursing due to a lack of bag space and struggling to keep my health up.

Don't get me wrong... I'm thankful and very grateful. But the experiences so far have been 'shocking'... if that's the right word for it. Helping out complete strangers is something I'm not accustomed to witnessing, let alone experiencing. But at the end of it he goes, "Add me up. In case you need a friend to talk to." O_o It's nice to not have to depend on the Husband to run through instances and dungeons with me though...
