Turn of the now
Ok. So those of you that don't know, I am in Washington. Things were somewhat hectic when i left California. Didn't have a lot of time to hang out with my friends before I left. I have loved it all so far. The drive was very pretty. Even though the first complete thought that ran through my head was..."This is the first scene from every horror movie." A single female driving across two states. But it was blessedly uneventful.
Today, er... at 1:17 am yesterday I turned 25. Yeah me! (Especially since I am baffled that I am still alive. But if I have gotten this far in life then I am not worried about the future.) I went snowboarding today. I know its something that most "people" that know me probably don't see me liking it. But it was fun. I had to get package deal since the rental place didn't have the right type of boots. So I got a paid lesson out of it. The guy was an absolute dick. I wasn't catching on to the balancing aspect fast enough for him. Actually had the nerve to tell me, " I can't teach you balance. That is something that differentiates between the pros and the amateurs." Which is total bullshit. But I didn't open my fat and smart ass mouth. So he got another guy to work with me. I liked him quite a bit better. I haven't really gotten turning down yet. Simple happy to work on skating and not falling on my ass. Of course I did fall on my ass but it was funny. I think when i go with my friends it will be better. Won't have to worry about being the slow kid in the class.
I am going to check out what the local schools have to offer. I really am hoping they have something in the way of parapsychology. It would be very awesome. I would be much more interested writing a 4 page report on a poltergeist than some current event.
We have been checking out apartments. Going to hear back about from a possible place tomorrow or tuesday. Technically we are most likely going to live in Federal Way. Its a nice area.
