Today another childhood icon of mine from the boob-tube era passed on, this one of his own accord. Unlike most, he chose his time and it came as quite a shock to the world. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.

I live maybe a mile, maybe less from the Century Aurora 16 movie theatre in the Aurora Town Center (aka the Aurora Mall) where the shootig took place. In the past couple of weeks Hubby and I saw 3 movies there:

July 1: Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wante and Snow White and the Huntsman.

July 4: Brave.
