Last week I was chatting Al (an old gr reg), talking about stuff. The fact that I had no money to buy persona 4 came up, and he said he would send it to me. I often help him with questions with his computer and he said he would sent it to me as a thank you, I never gave much thought of a reward for helping him. I was just helping him because he asked for help.
Best. Thank you gift. EVER.
Got it in the mail today, and even though I have only played it for an hour or two I have to say it is better then the last. First time you summon your persona gave me goosebumps. The whole murder mystery thing is cool. And the fact they got rid of the circle battle menu in place of a more traditional one makes it a lot easier to pick what you want to do.
Also wanted to talk about Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, Megami's first run into MMO. Right now it is in open beta, anyone with a decent computer and a good connection should try it out. You can download it
here . The game plays like that of nocturne with a mix of FFXII or If you have ever played Mabinogi it is like that. Right now the game is not translated completely, but almost all of it is so it is playable for people that can't read Japanese. It is no WoW, it really needs to be polished. You have to manually target everything, and that can be a pain when targeting small monsters. The quests don't really tell you what to do or where to go exactly. The quest giver will tell you you have to go somewhere and get something for someone but won't tell you you have to talk to the person your doing it for first. They will show you how to get to your destination threw a map but you have to memorize where it was once your out there, there is no checkpoint that goes up on the map and to see where your going you have to talk to the person again. Other then that it's a good game.
