Bleach~ ... And Day 2/3 of the 30 Day Meme
Okay, I've just read chapter 347 of Bleach and- and ...
Oh noes! Hime! We all knew this was going to happen - I mean, there have been "attack" flags all over the place in recent chapters! I mean, Ishida was injured, and Chad was missing ... So, it was only a matter of time until Orihime was the next target.
So ... Now will be the moment of truth right? Will Orihime reveal where she's hiding the hair pins? Will we finally be shown that she is more bad ass than she's letting on? Will Ulquiorra swoop in to save the day? I wish ... ... Just ... Fffff. Isn't this the moment we've been waiting for? To see what the hell is going on with Orihime - why the pins have vanished, if she's really alright after HM, if she's managed to become the strong woman Ulquiorra sees her as she wants to be?
I know I'm hoping so. Cause whatever the fat-guy's name was .... He was very clearly threatening her. I'm just hoping Kubo doesn't troll us and deny his readers a chance to see what happens in this case like he did with Ishida - cause, let's face it, Orihime's awakening is what I've been waiting for.
It was really sweet of her to go check on Chad again though.
Ffffff. Plz, plz, plz~ to be getting some closure on Orihime now Kubo.
In other thoughts ... ... Hells yes! Rukia! That's the first time we've seen her in ages - and it was with Ichigo remembering times he'd been proud as a Shinigami, looking all angtsy and ... Ffff. Full page-spread too. Jeez Kubo, are you sure you're not a shipper?? >D
Srsly though ... What the hell is with this fullbringer crap anyway? I get that's what Orihime's powers are .... But Chad's full-bringer is his skin? I suppose that makes sense if you consider his arm morphs into his weapon but ... ...
How the hell is that supposed to help with getting Shinigami powers back? Smells like Plotkai to me, tbh. Yeah, okay. Ichigo's the hero, he can't lose his powers ... But ... Can't you come up with a better way to return them? Rukia breaking the rules, for instance, going "You idiot! They're just subdued, not vanished. Can't you even figure that much out on your own?" ... Bah. Whatevs.
I just hope we get to see some serious Kick-Ass Orihime in the next chapter *fingers crossed*

My favourite pairing gets the most amount of pictures - and I only just now realised they're all by the same artist. That's kind of amusing.
The thing I like about Sasuke and Naruto is the hate-love relationship they have ... the rivalry ... There are just so many parts of SasuNaru that make me fangirl it would take me an entire entry to explain it properly ...
They're just .... Bound, you know? And no matter what way you look at their relationship - brothers, or with the potential to be something more - the fact that they mean alot to one another, even now, can't be denied.
I mean ... Who triggered Naruto's first lapse into Kyuubi state? Sasuke. Who drives Naruto to become stronger? Sasuke. Who is actually the first person to acknowledge Naruto? ... You got it, Sasuke. Sasuke recognised his strength and potential by taking part in their rivalry.
As for Sasuke ... Naruto is the first one he lets become close to him after so long. It's because of Naruto that Sasuke - temporarily - diverged off his "avenger" path. It was also Naruto who tried his damnedest to stop the idiotic teme from going to the perverted snake. On top of which, the most emotion I can ever recall Sasuke showing is when he finds out Itachi is after Naruto - it may have been because he was pissed off that Itachi was more interested in the Dobe than him ... ... But it might have also been concern for his welfare. You don't exactly go running around town to town desperately searching for a blonde boy unless you care about him, right?
Kakashi & Iruka, from Naruto
Really ... I just like these two because the fandom portrays them really well together, and I grew to like the idea. Kakashi's personality goes really well with Iruka's "mother-hen" personality.
They're a pairing that, really, have no canon-support (Hell, do they even talk in the series??) ... But, who cares? I like them. I don't want to say they're a crack pairing because ... Crack, to me, implies a pairing you ship for the lulz. With these two .... I don't know. They're a fandom-pairing, and they're just so very right for one another I can't help but love it too
Roy & Ed, from Fullmetal Alchemist
Ha! I know there are a few of you on my F-list floundering right now XD
Well, anyway. Yes... These two are my FMA OTP really ... I can't put my finger on the why - though I have a strong inclination to say that I like them for their push-pull relationship. I just .... I feel like Roy cares for Ed ... And, visa-versa (Ed's a Tsundere though and doesn't like to show it) It's just, with interactions the kind of which these two have ... You could have a really passionate pairing, ya know? They've got the rivalry aspect, the fiery arguments and ... Well, I've been shipping it for so long now I can't even remember why I ship them. I just do - haha!
The only thing that bugs me about the pairing is that Ed is always drawn so shouta in doujinshi. I don't like Girly-Ed, okay? Please give me fiery "I can kick that bastard's ass!" Ed, not weepy-doesn't-look-of-age Ed, I just don't feel right shipping these guys when Ed looks about 10 years old.
Touya & Yukito / Yue, from Cardcaptor Sakura
Hees~ These two~ They're just so suited for one another. I don't even know how to explain how cute their interactions are (and they're Canon!) ... Or how adorable they are through the manga. If you've seen the anime, or read the manga ... You'll understand.
Kurogane & Fai, from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
Hmm ... Another one I'm not sure how to explain. What makes these two really sweet is the way that they matured; They started out not getting along at all - Fai going out of his way to call Kurogane nicknames that aggravated the ninja ... But, in the end, the nicknames turned from a form of irritation to endearment. And then, when things go seriously bad for Fai ... Kurogane does what he can to save him, regardless of whether Fai wants to be saved or not, and essentially binds himself to Fai in the process - Making it so that Fai cannot live without Kurogane, and he doesn't even hesitate about doing that. He just does it, because he doesn't want Fai to die. Their relationship is volatile at times, and incredibly tender at others...
By the end, it just becomes painfully clear that these two care for one another. Whether they realise the depth of their feelings or not, who can say? The thing that matters is that when one needs the other ... they're there, through thick or thin.
Kanou & Yukimura, from Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!
Okay these two ... They're just cute. There's no two ways around it ... While the manga doesn't tell us if these two are actually in a relationship or not, it doesn't matter ... Because when you see them together, they just ooze "b'aww"ness, it doesn't matter.
Kanou has this fear of women ... And Yukimura is so god damn effeminate he should have been born female ... Maybe that's why they balance each other out nicely?
It doesn't really matter in the end... I just think they'd be super-cute together.
L / Ryuuzaki & Light / Kira, from Death Note
Speaking of volatile-relationships ... ... ... Jeez man. These two are just ... Omg. Everything is a competition with them, and yet ... You can feel they genuinely respect one another - and if Light wasn't trying to kill L without being caught, and L wasn't trying to prove Light is Kira, a mass murderer ... Maybe they could have actually been happy-ish.
Really, I don't think anyone else would be worthy of either of these two besides one another. They actually challenged each other and ... They were equal, ya know? Sure, their relationship wasn't a healthy one, and it certainly wasn't built on mutual respect ... It was built on grudging respect, that somehow became a twisted friendship ... And yet ... I don't know. It's all very bittersweet. I love the push and pull of their realationship and ... ... Seriously - chains L? There was something going on there, I don't care that the manga didn't show it. These two just reeked of gay.
Draco & Harry, from Harry Potter
For this ... I entirely blame Ile-O on Deviantart, and Dyson_rules on Fanfiction.net ... The Draco-Harry relationship they portray is just ... ♥ gorgeous and so very believable.
Of course, they have the whole rival-thing working for them ...And then Draco's Tsundere-ness, coupled with Harry's ... Well, Gryffindor-ness works amazing together (See exhibit A above)
I just think they have the potential to be cute, you know? And all those years of pent-up UST don't really help. I mean, seriously, Harry's damn near obsessed (He is obsessed) with Draco in The Half Blood Prince, and Draco ... He's just a little too harsh on Harry, if you ask me. An underlying crush he didn't want to admit to, perhaps?
Who the hell cares - thanks to those two mentioned above ... they make this list =D
Axel & Roxas, from Kingdom Hearts
Ffffffff~ This pairing! It's so damn ... ... Heartbreaking! And it's all because of Axel!
Axel is so hopelessly devoted to Roxas, you can't help but cheer for him. I mean ... just ... Gods. If you haven't played the game, you mightn't get it ... It's just so very frustrating cause all through the game, Axel is doing what he can - simply for the chance to see Roxas again. He goes against the Organisation to help Sora because .... Well, trying to avoid spoilers here >.>
The point is, Axel is doing everything within his power to get Roxas back - no matter what it takes, and I feel that while he was still in the Organisation ... Roxas felt something for Axel too. Even if they were nobodies... I think they found a heart through one another ♥
And, the Girls~
Neptune & Uranus, from Sailor Moon
Seriously ... Who the hell doesn't ship these two? They're just so dang obvious ...
And, really, I just ship them cause they're canon ... I mean, I like their relationship ... And there was no way they could have successfully disguised it as "cousins" in the Dub like they tried ... But I couldn't tell you "Why" I ship them, like I can with the Yaoi pairings ...
Mai & Ty-Lee, from Avatar: The Last Airbender
Uhm ... I don't even 'actively' ship these two ... I just needed a little more in this section XD
The reason I chose Mai and Ty-Lee is cause ... I could see them together ... Mai is so depressive, and Ty-Lee is so hyperactive. In a series where I like ships that have opposite energies ... It would make sense for them to get together.
... Yeah ... I'm not much of a Yuri shipper, tbh. Yaoi I like ... Yuri ... I could never really get into - Unless it was Naruko and Saki (By which I mean, Fem! Naruto and Sasuke) ... ... It isn't cause I've got anything against it ... I just couldn't get into Yuri pairings like I did with Yaoi. I can see the appeal of some Yuri pairings but ... Ack, I dunno. It's just not my cup of tea.
