(no subject)
Been a little while so I figured I should update on the job front.
I am now working at Jared. They made me a good offer and I was still trying to decide between that job and the front desk job at old work but seeing as after I did a 2 day trial on that they wanted to do another trial on me and another girl at work and there were 3 people from outside the company trying for it I decided to say screw that and take the offer from Jared.
I was bad and didn't do my two weeks notice though cause I had pushed things back with Jared to see what was up with the other job and seeing as they wanted to take longer I could let a job offering more money that really wanted me there slip by me.
So far things are going good. I started on Monday and I'm slowly getting the procedures down. It will take a bit of time but I'm sure I'll figure it all out soon. I also made sure Tara the manager that does the schedules knew about AUSA so it won't be a shock when I tell her I need that weekend off and all. And I'll remind her from time to time during the year till then.
Yeah, it's retail again. I know I said I didn't want to do that again, but it's paying more then the old job was and I'll actually get raises! My old job hadn't done raises in like 4 years. Which is BS but whatever. Of course I'll still be job hunting because I still want a graphic design job someday. But till then at least I'm making better money now and I won't be sitting on my ass 8 hours a day. YAY for getting to be active and actually socialize with people instead of my ipod all day!
