... I'd surely be one now.
I had lunch at my parent's this weekend when I was in Berlin. As usual, my parent's dog, Max, was beside himself with joy at seeing the boyfriend and me. He is the most cuddly dog I have ever met. You'll be leaning down to pet him and he'll literally jump on your lap and cuddle with you. He always has to have some kind of contact, so when you're sitting at the dinner table, he'll at the very least lie on you feet. The one thing he hates is driving in cars. He doesn't like getting into them at all. But apparently he anticipated boyfriend and me leaving again and really did not want us to leave. So while we were fixing my license plate which kept falling off, he jumped in the car by himself (which in itself is huge, because he never does that), made himself comfortable on the driver's seat and refused to leave. We closed the doors, he just laid down and closed his eyes. We went inside for a bit, to see what he'd do and he just remained totally calm and relaxed. In the end, when it was time for us to leave, my mother had to bait him with dog treats to get him to leave the car.
