Few On A Friday

This will be the first time I've spent a weekend away from David in a long time.  Particularly with him traveling in one direction (Jersey) and me headed to another (Vermont.)  Usually only one of us travels at a time, and usually the person is me.  It feels very strange.

On Thursday I interrupted my workday with a trip to the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum for a tour led by my friend Biston as part of our new gift circle.

After a lecture on mindfulness by Jon Kabat-Zinn, I've been inspired to practice noticing when I'm taking things personally.  Not to try to halt the behavior, but just to notice.

Each day, I get sent a poem to my email from poets.org.  I confess that I immediately delete the long ones.

My life is kind of exploding with human riches.  I'm kind of not exaggerating.
