66: Put $50 into savings every month.
WHAT: Put $50 of every paycheck--I get paid monthly--into savings.
WHY: Justin and I are both notoriously bad at saving. We tend to spend. This isn't helping us get anywhere we might want to go.
HOW: My bank allows me to schedule automatic transfers between accounts, which makes this super-easy. This has been in place since I started my list. To buy the car, we had to take the money from savings out, but it was only gone for a couple weeks and is all right back where it was now.
STATUS: Done! This was supereasy. Every time I look at our savings, I'm happy. It's not a lot yet, but it's steadily growing. This is a very good thing.
