One of my acquaintances on Facebook liked a group called 'THEY'RE going THERE with THEIR friends. It's called grammar, use it.' I feel the urge to correct people. No, that's called spelling. That's a matter of vocabulary, not grammar. Second, an actual point of grammar needs to be addressed: that comma in the second sentence really should be a semicolon. Hell, even a colon would work. A comma isn't the most appropriate piece of punctuation for that purpose.
