my boy is home and other stories

And he is his usual (messy, troublemaking, frustrating) self again already.

(his dental surgery is scheduled for the eighth. he's going in overnight in the inpatient psych unit - because they already know how to handle him best, and agree that he's safer there than a general medical floor, and they can give him drugs to combat the inevitable tantrum caused by the fact that he can't have food. fortunately some of his troublesome teeth have already fallen out, so he'll only have to have two extracted I think.)

I continue to feel like I've been beaten with several of the great god Thor's finest hammers, and I don't know what to do about this in regards to the upcoming vocational rehab meeting (which i don't know what to do about, period). Seeing rheumathologist next week.

Attempted to extract replacement phlebotomy certificate out of college. Called college to figure out who I should call; was assured that they handled it (despite my misgivings) and now the guy in records thinks I'm either crazy or lying. Fun times.

(although i kind of resent being told to calm down when I'm just TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING IMPORTANT, DAMNIT. and i maintain that if i were a man i probably wouldn't have gotten that little lecture...)

(ah. he has now shuffled me to someone else. no one knows where to find a replacement copy of my phlebotomy certificate yet, but it's not THERE, at least.)
