If you open all the doors to the 2 back bedrooms in my house, you can literally walk around in a circle inside the house thru the back bedrooms into the living room, kitchen and then back to the bedrooms. The girls will go one way and try to sneak up on my dad and he will go the other way and "get" them. It's lame, but funny.
The last time I was in NYC, Lauren and I stayed at this "hostel" but it was a high tek hotel w/ ihomes and flatscreen lcd tv's in the bunk beds and it was all chrome and marble and shiny and whatnot. The only drawback was shared bathrooms but we were only there overnight... I wish I could remember the name of the place b/c it was cheap (for NYC). I think I found it on hotels.com or something like that..... I know it was close to Radio City Music Hall b/c that is where we were going and we wanted to be able to walk back and forth. I know this isn't helpful LOL
Also that is lame about not being able to walk/bike to school. Of course no one does that now. Everyone is driven or bused now. I walked in and out every day b/c when I was a kid my parents had one car so I had no choice. My sister was driven in and out every day. They say it's b/c the streets aren't safe any more. That's bullshit IMO. I mean in some places I am sure it isn't but in most places I am sure it is reasonably safe to walk to school...
