That's a lazy day?

Mar 16, 2009 07:33

Yesterday started off slow, with less than 1,500 steps on the pedometer by the time we finished lunch. Well, lazy days never really last because just after lunch gina-fischer took the dog for a short walk -- up to about 3,500 steps after the walk.

From there we went for a bike ride. Gina grabbed a new billfold while I picked up Cyclonus at HEB (for some reason the Transformers Universe toys are $9 there while Target and Wal-Mart want $13). After wandering the two stores and stopping for some ice cream that left the pedometer at about 5,100 steps. And the pedometer doesn't register movement on the bike, so that was almost two miles of walking by about 3 pm.

After dinner we went for another walk and by the end of the day I closed down at almost 9,000 steps. Considering my daily goal is 10,000 steps, which is roughly 3.5 miles -- yesterday turned out to be not such a lazy day after all.

I'm at 1,220 steps for today. And today's going to take a lot of desk time so hitting 10,000 is gonna be tough.
