Today, I found out some things.
I have to move out of my room. Again. I knew that my ceiling would have to be replaced, but apparently my brain didn't accept what this means: there needs to be no stuff in the room so repairmen can work in it.
Boy, by the time I actually have to move out of the house, I'm gonna be a pro. I'm half expecting a tree to sprout out of my neighbor's driveway and fall only in my room, so I'd have to move out a third time.
Things I will do differently than last time:
-Label boxes
-Throw out some crap (This is going to be hard; I'm a major packrat)
-Put small stuff in plastic bags so it doesn't get lost
If we have to paint (again):
-Get a high gloss paint, so that I can touch the walls without smearing them
-Get a lot of sticky stuff, so I don't have to use tacks (at all)
-Actually take my outlet covers off (I definitely painted around them last time)

Any other suggestions from people who have already moved out somewhere would be appreciated. I'm not sure how long term this is, probably at most, a couple weeks.

I really, really want this week to be done. Really.
