Well, I finished (for now) my artwork on my "new" biker jacket I picked up a week ago in BR at a vintage shop. It's not that old a jacket really, probably 90's made, but it's good and heavy. The main art piece is a Bettie type girl, riding a diving rocket that is in the old 1950's style.... and actually matches my vintage ice crusher (shaped like a rocket, red & white) and the repro drink shaker that Kat got me last year at Daddy-O's in Fairmount (home of James Dean of course). The shaker also is rocket shaped :) I did the art in regular artist acrylics... it seems durable so far, but I wonder if I shouldn't clear-coat it with something in case it chips. Anyone have ideas/experience?
There's more decor on it, and I'll have to digi-photo it, and post it, unless you saw it already over the weekend.
Now all I need to do is steal Heath's (from the Cryptokats) Triumph motorcycle.... MUUWWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!
