sharp darts, double dutch

My computer is acting wonky again. It had a nice period of stasis, but now it's back for more carnage and woe. And I haven't selected a nice, cheap-arse replacement for it yet. It knows, it knows. It's alive, I say. God help us all.

Umm, hi.

Got two packages in the mail today: Brian Sibley's LOTR: Making of the Movie Trilogy which I got for $5 ( Read more... )

My pinched nerve was in my left arm as well and I freaked out too until I realized if it was my heart I would have been dead already. lol Pinched nerves suck. :( Hope you're feeling better soon. *hugs*

Yeesh, yeah it is scary that. Right now, it's more uncomfortable than anything.
Did yours get better on its own?
Thanks. *hugs back*

It's been months now and I still have tingling and loss of sensation in my pinkie and ring finger. But the pain and major tingling is gone. I'm not sure when or if it will ever go away. I hardly notice it at this point I'm so used to it.

I hope your arm/fingers feel back to normal soon!! And don't worry, you're not being silly, I'd react the same way... I must admit I have hypochondriac tendencies at times, so I know what it's like to panic/worry about your health. I'm sure it's nothing, but if it's still there for a few more days, it might be a good idea to get a doctor to check it out... if nothing to just ease your mind. :)

And sorry to hear your computer's being moody. :/ Damn technology!

Oh, and I have that Making of the LOTR Trilogy book, it's awesome!! That's so cool that you got it for only $5 too. :)

Thanks, Lauren. *hugs*
I know, I have some hypocondriac leanings myself... probably make things worse for myself than they really are in most cases. *grin*
Most people I've talked to have mentioned going to the doctor if it doesn't disappear after a week too, so I'll just have to see how it goes. *sigh* Man, I hate doctor's visits.

It does look to be a tasty book. Can't wait to dive into it (besides drooling over the photos, as I've already done). :)

Your Sam icon is wonderful.

Once I pinched my sciatic nerve (the biggest nerve in the body, which extends all the way down from the hip to your calf) and I swear to god, I thought I'd be a cripple for life. I thought I'd have to get my leg amputated. Yeah, hypochondriac for sure. ;) But when I pinched it, it hurt like hell, and the doctor told me all I could really do was let it heal on its own, which would take four to six weeks, and to take some ibuprofen. He told me you can pinch that nerve by simply sitting. :P But it healed, though it took a couple weeks. I hope your pinched nerve heals soon!! *hugs*

And thank you! The Sam icon was made by our dear lady_evergreen. :)

So, umm, I'm going to be standing for now on. No more sitting for me. ;)
I think mine may have happened while I was sleeping, so I can see how the simplest, most mundane things can trigger it.
I'm glad yours healed up just fine after a while---I can imagine how upsetting that must have been.

Thanks again, dearie. *hugs*

Aw, I hope you can replace your computer before she betrays you. No internet? *shudders*

Eek, I know! Hopefully soon, yes. If I could give in to a PC, she'd be out the door by now and replaced. Stupid Macs, they lure you in with their wily, expensive ways. *grin*
