Hello parental units alpha and beta!
Thank you for the care package that you sent (it seemed to be delivered through some sort of augsburg organization, if you had forgotten.) I was a bit dissapointed in the note; I was expecting something along the lines of "Don't fuck up, love mom and dad." In any case, the contents were tasty.
Final projects are going well, i only have a few assignments left. I'm having trouble concentrating lately, though, so i end up staying up later than I normally would. Hopefully tonight i can catch up on some sleep, that might help. Other than that, things are going great.
I have some wonderful news! Angie Wyatt (my saxophone instructor) had all of the saxophone students come to her house for an end of term dinner (She made delicious lasagna of various types). Joe and I were kind of the odd ones out, as we weren't making shittons of noise and being routy.
I ended up talking to Angie's husband about some awesome vintage speakers he had (a pair of 3 way Universals) and a really nice turntable. Eventually he said "You know, Angie and I have some speakers down stairs we're trying to get rid of" and took me down there. I ended up walking away with a pair of Advent Loudspeakers! They're epic as all hell, and are in perfect working condition, even if they're ugly as sin.
I'm sending some pictures of the speakers (set up in Adam's room) and various
other pictures of dorm life in the past few weeks. (

Thanks again for taking Alice and I out for dinner and Vespers. She really enjoyed the show and seems much less stressed now that she's met you (vs when she was worried and stressed out at the prospect of meeting you). I obviously enjoyed the show as well.
Hope you enjoy the pictures,
Phil
