Have you ever met someone who totally captivated you from the moment you first met them, or talked to them, or just sat next to them? Maybe from a far and just kind of watching and wondering the proverbial, "what if?" Or standing near them was almost like total bliss? You just couldn't seem to get enough of them. Ok, here's how I felt on a night about two years ago with someone I met, only briefly. I didn't even know their name. Finding out more about them certainly could have meant my image of perfection would be diminished, so I didn't take that chance in life, only in fantasy.
I call it, "I Care For You".

You caught my eye from the first time we met.
Everything about you I couldn't forget.
We talked a minute, then you walked away.
So much of me followed you that day.
You left with friends and I was waiting for you.
Deep inside me I looked for the words to stop you.
Nothing came.

This has to be right, why else would I feel this way?
Can I be wrong, or is this some cruel test of fate?
