Three and Out
Way to stress me out today, boys. I think everyone was hoping the game would be a cakewalk, but the Fins made it a wee bit more difficult. When McNabb went down in with the injury, the crowd was merciless, to the point where even I was somewhat appalled. I've always said that if McNabb sustains one more injury that requires him missing time, his career is over. That doesn't mean I want it to happen.
I'm watching the Cowboys-Skins game. Mathematically, the Skins losing is better for the Eagles, and wanting this to happen is making me throw up a little in my mouth. There are a ton of long field goal tries in this one.
Funny conversation with my mom:
Me: I have a headache from the bar. So, I am sitting on my couch, drinking tea.
Her: That doesn't sound like you at all.
Me: Well, I'm still wearing my Eagles jersey and I'm watching more football.
Her: That sounds more like my daughter.
I watched Hot Fuzz. The 1st half was meh, but the last half hour made up for it in spades. I was in hysterics. The greater good. Hi-larious. And the Baz Luhrman stuff was inspired.
Question for those of you more gadgety than I . . . I noticed last week that my right earbud seemed to be kaput. I bought new earbuds, and, lo and behold, I still get no sound on the right. Now, this is either a ridiculous coincidence, or there's something wrong with my iPod. It's a 2nd generation Mini. I've dropped it a few times, recently on the metro escalator. Think it's on its last legs? If I need to replace it, I am so getting a Touch, but I say this before I check out the pricing . . . okay, I am emotionally prepared now. I'm asking for a Best Buy gift card for Hanukkah. ;)
I'm on hat #44. I want to get two more done before the night is over, since I probably won't do any tomorrow. Still no repeats! And I'll be refreshing my yarn supply on Wednesday.
