I'm finding more and more that I love the differences between people.

Tonight I walked home from Abbot by myself at about 11ish. I haven't been in such a big snow downfall in a long time. The size of those snow flake conglomerates was amazing. I was so overtaken by this shower that I stood under a lamp post for a while looking up and waiting for snow flakes to stumble into my mouth. With the roaring of random cars zooming by and my thoughts dancing around about the nights events I couldn't help but think of all the different ways people are experiencing what I was at that exact moment. If I were in one of those cars like those delivery people I probably would have thought of the snow as a bother and something that's costing me time and a possible tip. My mind then wandered back to the friends I had just left in the Abbot basement. They probably were unaware of the beautiful snow. My mind then traveled back to earlier events of the night and I thought they would probably think it was wonderful. I then thought of my roommate who always speaks of her love of snow. She's probably the only person I know that loves snow and winter that much. She was probably already dancing in the streets by the time I realized how beautiful God's creation is.

So the moral of the story (since I have no other way to end this post) is: Merry Christmas!
