I can't believe it, but I did. I wrote one 200 word drabble for every single Prompt, Monthly Theme and Monthly Character/Pairing on
numb3rs100. This makes me oddly proud. For the Prompt/Theme/Character Challenge series "The Path of Wormholes" there are currently 93 drabbles. I intend to keep the series going in other prompts and fics, but I need to get working on my MASH series too!
In total, since October 5, 2006, (thats only 43 days, peeples!) I've written a grand total of 104 Drabbles and 1 fic for Numb3rs. *iz ded*
Thank you to all the lovely people who reviewed and commented. I won't try to name them all, cause I will forget someone and be forced to beat myself around the head severely!
Now, the drabbles:
Title: Information and Inebriation

Rating: T+
Challenge: Ian Edgerton
Summary: Ian and Colby have a chat in a bar near Quantico.
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Nope, are you seeing a pattern for this series?
Notes/Warnings: Just a little funny fluff.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Numb3rs. Heck, I don’t even understand most of it!
But, I find myself sounding like Larry some days.
“You’re what,” Ian Edgerton stared at Colby Granger in disbelief.
Ian and Colby sat in a “Fed” bar after training. Having not been to LA in awhile, Ian was looking forward to a little gossip. However, he never expected gossip like this.
Colby cracked half a smile, “I’m living with Charlie… and Alan. It’s been a bit of an adjustment, but we all get along well.”
“Oh,” Ian looked slightly relieved, “so you’re just living at the Professor’s.”
“Yes and no. I’m living at Charlie and Alan’s, but I’m living, and sleeping with, Charlie.”
Ian shook his head, “And Alan and Don don’t mind?”
“I think it would have bothered Alan more if I hadn’t just been shot when I first moved in, but he was more concerned about… me actually. Don seriously has no room to talk.”
Ian quirked one eyebrow.
“He’s living with Billy Cooper and Megan’s sister, Melinda. And yes, I mean ‘living with.’”
“Damn, I need to get to LA more,” Ian took a pull of beer from the bottle.
Colby laughed, “Wait, I haven’t even told you about Megan and Larry and their daughter, Alania.”
The beer sprayed out of Ian’s mouth as he choked.
Title: Ladies’ Night
Pairing/Characters: Megan, OFC Melinda, OFC Elizabeth
Rating: T
Challenge: Women
Summary: Megan spends time with her sister, mother and daughter
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Nope, are you seeing a pattern for this series?
Notes/Warnings: I have to admit that Elizabeth is a little more Mary-Sue in that she is based on my mother. I can hear my mother saying this!!
Disclaimer: I don’t own Numb3rs. Heck, I don’t even understand most of it!
But, I find myself sounding like Larry some days.
Ladies’ Night was Larry’s idea. During the debacle with Megan’s father, Megan’s mother, Elizabeth had been spending more time with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Genuinely liking his mother-in-law, he didn’t want Megan and her mother to drift apart again.
Every other Tuesday Elizabeth would pick Alania up from daycare, spend a few hours with her, and then meet Megan and Melinda for dinner or a movie or something. This was an almost perfect arrangement. It also allowed Megan and Melinda to spend time with other women, which was a rarity since they both worked primarily with men. And it allowed Alania time to be with the strong female role models that would shape her life.
Surprisingly enough, Elizabeth, Melinda, and Megan were getting along better than they had in years. They were definitely getting along better than when the girls were teenagers and Melinda was unhappily conforming to her father’s every wish and Megan was willfully rebelling against her father’s every wish.
Unfortunately, that led to Elizabeth asking a question that even Megan hadn’t asked.
“So, how exactly does the sex work between you, Don and Billy? Since, you’ve got the two receptacles are you always in the middle.”
Title: Oh, Mother!

The moment the words were out of her mother’s mouth, Megan was up behind her sister slapping her back and holding her arms over her head. Elizabeth was busy mopping up a rather startled and soppy Alania, who had unfortunately been the main target in spray of Chianti from her aunt.
Megan stared at her mother, “Mom, why would you ask such a thing? Especially when she’d just taken a drink of wine.”
“I’m just curious,” Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders. “I thought it would be interesting to be with two men, but your father would never… Well, maybe if there was no touching between the men, but that would be a pity to not be able to see that. Don and Billy, they touch each other, right?”
“Make her stop,” Melinda moaned, as she blushed scarlet.
Megan couldn’t help it. She felt a laugh starting and soon was roaring with laughter.
Melinda threw a roll at her sister, “Oh, shut up, how would like it if Mom was asking you about your sex life?”
“You know, I always thought Larry had very nimble looking fingers,” Elizabeth responded in a wistful way.
Now it was Megan’s turn to blush deep scarlet.
Title: Food Fight
Pairing/Characters: Megan/Larry
Rating: K
Challenge: Food
Summary: Megan and Larry prepare for a dinner party.
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Nope, are you seeing a pattern for this series?
Notes/Warnings: I can see them fight over the little stuff for some reason.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Numb3rs. Heck, I don’t even understand most of it!
But, I find myself sounding like Larry some days.
“Do you think we have enough food?”
Megan turned and glared at her husband, “You didn’t just seriously ask that question, did you?”
“Well, yes, I mean I’ve seen Colby and Charlie eat and with…”
“Larry,” his name was an annoyed sigh. “If we put one more pea on that dinning room table it would collapse under the weight! I assure you, we have more than enough food. Hell, we’ll be sending home doggy bags.”
Larry contemplated the table for a few moments. When his head tilted to the side, Megan growled. “What?”
“Do. Not. Do. That! Don’t stand there trying to calculate at what exact weight the table would fail. It was a… a… literary something, not an actual statement of fact!”
Larry faltered, amazing at Megan’s annoyance and how well she knew him. He tried desperately not to smile, but the muscles in his face wouldn’t cooperate.
Megan’s hand went to her head, “What are you smirking about now!?”
“You’re cute when you’re mad and covered in cooking debris.”
“God, it’s a good thing I love you, cause sometimes you are a frickin’ idiot.”
At that moment, Larry decided that maybe a dinner party wasn’t the best idea.
Title: Daddy Comfort
Pairing/Characters: Alania (Larry)
Rating: K
Challenge: Larry
Summary: Alania wants to comfort Daddy
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Nope, are you seeing a pattern for this series?
Notes/Warnings: Just more fluff from Alania’s POV. A woman I work with always says that white food is comfort food.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Numb3rs. Heck, I don’t even understand most of it!
But, I find myself sounding like Larry some days.
Alania watched Daddy. Something was wrong. He seemed funny. Maybe he didn’t like all the people in the house, either. There were a lot of big people in the house, some that she didn’t know, but that seemed to know either Mommy or Daddy. The people that seemed to know Mommy didn’t talk to Daddy and the people that knew Daddy were talking to each other.
Alania watched Daddy. Daddy was sad, Alania decided. When Alania was sad Daddy would make Alania feel better. Daddy said that it was called comforting. Alania wanted to comfort Daddy, but Daddy wouldn’t want Pooh Bear or Comet Blankie. Alania thought about comfort. Then Alania remembered Grandpa Alan talking about comfort food. Mommy once said white food was comfort food.
Alania knew how to comfort Daddy.
Alania made her way to the big table. The big chair was still at the end of the table. The other chairs were in the living room. Alania crawled up onto the chair and looked at the table. The potatoes were white, but yucky. The corns were white and yummy, but very small. Alania’s face scrunched up. Alania wanted the right white to comfort Daddy.
Alania found it!
Title: Watching Alania
Pairing/Characters: Megan/Larry, Alania
Rating: K
Challenge: # 81Turkey
Summary: Megan and Alania cheer Larry up.
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Nope, are you seeing a pattern for this series?
Notes/Warnings: Shameless fluff. Alania is talking a little now.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Numb3rs. Heck, I don’t even understand most of it!
But, I find myself sounding like Larry some days.
Megan noticed Alania jump down from the chair at the end of the table. She wasn’t sure how her barely two-year-old daughter had managed to get up on the chair alone, but no one was near enough to help. She also wasn’t sure what the little girl had gotten into by the table. Checking to make sure there were no toddler-sized holes in the food, Megan decided she should follow her daughter.
It took just a moment to locate Alania, who was following a fairly dejected Larry into the kitchen. Although they had made up before the guest arrived, Larry was always slow to get over their arguments, big or small. Megan made her way to the kitchen and watched her husband and daughter.
Alania was insistently pulling on her Daddy’s jeans and it took a moment for him to crouch down to her level. When he did she kissed him, then shoved something in his mouth, which caused him to fall on his rear. Alania quickly jumped into his arms.
“Dada hap now,” Alania smiled at her mother.
Joining them on the floor, Megan kissed Larry, “Mm, turkey. Yes, Daddy’s happy now.”
Larry kissed Megan again, “Now, Daddy’s happy.”
