Trekkie Mother's day
For Mother's day we went to see the new Star Trek movie. I'm not into Mother's day. It's another one of those greeting card holidays that I find annoying as heck. So, we went to the movies... figuring everyone else might be at brunch.
I liked it. G hated it.
It reminded me of the What if? comics. And the old Superman Red and Superman Blue. Superman Blue is on our plane. The Supermen finally get married in this comic because there's finally enough Superman to go around to the Lana/Lois gals. See, I "get it". I thought, what a great way to get some mileage out of the old Trek stuff and then, a couple of movies later, re-set the timeline. Or show us "our" reality again. Apparently, not everyone agrees with me.
