Stephwing from DC! (Not THAT DC...)
I put a lot of work into this as an s_d post, but the rules have changed since I knew what the rules were, and...I don't know, I'll just put it on my own dw:

Aaron Diaz, aka Dresden Codak (or "DC" for short, no, really) has been doing fan redesigns of various concepts. His re-imagining of Batman is evolving in ways some here might appreciate.
First, we had this little thing a year ago (2011 July 19):

A few months later (2011 Oct. 12), an expansion on the idea, with Steph as "Batgirl" (shown below) as well as reinventions of Tim and Babs:

Here's the "Art Deco Batman" Tim and Steph:
Robin/Tim Drake - I’m picturing Robin as functioning more as a detective on the ground, someone to play good cop to Batman’s bad cop. He’s a brilliant kid, but also not as enamored with Batman’s theatrics as his partners. His design is inspired by Golden Age pulp detectives like the Shadow and Sandman.
Nightwing/Stephanie Brown - In my earlier reboot I had Stephanie as Batgirl, but I’ve changed it to Nightwing here because I don’t like the idea of a female lead being seen as just the “girl” variant on a male hero. Her design’s based mostly on Mignola’s Lobster Johnson, with a little bit of Rocketeer and the Equalists from Legend of Korra. She fights with electric batons!
For legality, three strips from the Dresden Codak webcomic, starring mad scientist protagonist Kim Ross:
