Strange Things Are Happening to Me
But isn't that always the way it goes?
I must say I had a good time at DIVAS last night and the banquet, although everytime I think of Boone and Chandra leaving I want to cry. And I am really going to miss Tiffany because we got to be friends this year. And Dulce, Amanda and Morgan (all of whom I wish I'd spent more time with.) And now I have to be a senior and a leader, and everytime I listen to them toll out the praises of the deserving recipients of awards I think how far from the goal fall I.
But I enjoyed it so much for many reasons, most of which were getting to see all my friends happy and non-stressed and dressy and feeling really good about themselves.
I will really miss this because although I love theatre it isn't the reason I want to stay in GTA. My friends are, and that will be difficult to leave next year. So I won't think about it right now.
Well, I got a C in scenic design and I did feel like a huge loser, but I think now that as mom says,'Oh, well.' It's not that big of a deal if I don't make it one. Maybe I can redeem myself with Snoopy...yep. Erm.
Anyway, it's been an interesting year and a fun one, and I hope to see everyone this summer.
