OK here's my list of currentlies.
Currently working on: my Fred/Hermione story, which I'm pretty certain is not up to par, but hopefully I can clean it up in the next day or so.
Neville/Cho series for rarepair_shorts. Yup, haven't given up yet. I just needed to get some other stories out of the way first, but now i'm back on it.
Theodore/Ginny series. I've gotten the second chapter pretty much where I want it to be. The story was originally going to be 14 chapters, but I've decided it would be better if I just cut it in half. I'm still trying to figure out what Theodore thinks of Harry Potter. Any suggestions?
Challenge #8 for rarepair_shorts. I'm pretty excited about the pairing I'm writing this story for and I kind of want it to be a surprise. Hopefully I'll have it done by next week.
Currently listening to: The Smoking Popes, a fanmix for Luna I've been tinkering with and The Showdown. As usual I'm about two years behind whatever's currently going on in music.
Currently reading: The Swap, the tale of a man who swapped his Superman #1 for a piece of pipe as a child. He now regards this decision as the moment at which he made a horrible mistake. At his twentieth reunion he meets up with the boy whom he swapped with, the boy who is now a well to do financier. A lot of the main character's thoughts revolve around his mid-life crisis, which reminds me a lot of High Fidelity. Throw in a murder and some intrigue and you've got a pretty interesting story on your hands.
Zero Girl by Sam Kieth- a five issue mini-series about a sixteen year old girl who finds power in her daily humiliation and circles, which she uses to repel bullies and squares a like. Throw in a hip guidance counselor and a sow bug to whom the main character refers to as Uncle as you have a really weird comic series, but then what would you expect from the creator of The Maxx?
Current favorite movie: Bottle Rocket because it's got quotes like this:
Anthony-One morning, over at Elizabeth's beach house, she asked me if I'd rather go water-skiing or lay out. And I realized that not only did I not want to answer that question, but I never wanted to answer another water-sports question, or see any of these people again for the rest of my life.
Current YAYS as prescribed by myownmuggle: tax month is winding down and I have pretty much everything taken care of, which means I have more time to write and a lot less stress in my life.
Current BOOS, The Ravens didn't make it to the Superbowl like I hoped. Its not that I'm a huge football fan or anything. I just thought it would have been neat to see two bird mascots on the football field at the same time. Though I suppose a guy dressed in a Cardinal outfit and a guy dressed in a pair of overalls and carrying an I-beam around could be fun too. In all seriousness i have nothing to Boo about. I am very happy with the way this week is turning out
