Most of my flist is talking about Heath Ledger, and the absolutey fury that is the Westboro Baptist Church.
Things people do to religion... it's all such bullshit.
Of course... that it takes an actor's death to make everybody furious about the fucked up things people do in the name of religion and not, you know, daily genocide, that kind of says something too.
Not that I'm saying my flist isn't angry about the rest of the shite going on in the world (I know for sure most of them are) it's just most people are being much more vocal about this. Which I get! You get attached to celebrities, and high profile death affects everyone, and I'd never belittle that, and I'm sorry to everyone that's sad about it. And his poor kid. It's so messed up. And I would so very join a protect of anti-pickets to stop them fucking up his funeral. It's a funeral! The WBC are such ARSEHOLES. Leave him and his family in PEACE! ARGH.
