How to be a parent
I'm posting this half out of my own anger and frustration and half cause I don't want this shit to EVER happen again so take heed to what I say. And don't treat your kids thisway...I know most of you won't...but still...

HOW TO BE A PARENT:

1. If you have more than one child, accident or not, Do NOT treat one like some sort of golden child. Like waiting till one has pnemonia to think he/she is sick enough to go to a doctor but if the golden child has a bump on his/her elbow you take them right away.

2. Seperate parts to this one but... SUPPORT YOUR CHILD. I know I'm spoiled but there is a difference between not spoiling and not supporting.

2a. CLOTH YOUR CHILD. Don't leave them to buy their cloths, cause things happen where cloths will get ruined making is possible for the kid to have limited clothing and feeling dirty all the time.

2b. BUY COSMETICS. Don't expect your child to buy every little piece of hygenic item imagnable. Kids need money to pay for the few things that they truly enjoy in life, they should learn how to be happy...not how to be an accountant for age of six onward. Trying to learn how to balance the money they have in order to be clean and not look like a hobo and have fun.

2c. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF FIRST! Don't worry about how much of your money gets wasted if your child spills milk. Specialy if you yourself spend money on superficial crap such as...
-Plastic Surgeory of any kind
-A new counter top because your old one has a tiny crack in it that no one can see unless you show them
-Fake nails/hair dues Every two or three weeks

3. If your child has to undergo surgeory... take care of them and watch over them...even after the pain is gone and the child has recovered. Do not nickle and dime them for every half cup of milk they had, every pill they had to take to make the pain stop hurting... that's not being a mother nurturing her child...that's being a doctor to a client. Which is NEVER how your relationship with your son or daughter should be...ever.

4. OK...this one I want an opinion on....College. Do you pay for college or not? I mean you should AT LEAST help get a loan but do you make the child pay it back? And if so, Why? Shouldn't you want to watch your kid climb up to success? I dunno...discuss at your disgression. But let me know what you think.

And I'm done. I've ranted here. I've now ranted to my mommy...So I'm good for now. Thanks for listening.
