More weekend updates
Saturday was a busy day with us rushing through and fro from the workshop to mum's to pick up the children (who had fallen asleep!). In the end, I only picked up sis and nek to my house so that we can work on getting the photos out of the camera and also on the fancy dress for nek.
In between, the contractor came by to drill holes for us to hang our pictures and also looked at the tap. Sis spent most of the time online as nek played in my playroom. Then my cleaning lady arrived and she started cleaning while we started wondering where to place our pictures. By the time they were all hung up, it looks heavenly! We even managed to hang up Keith's picture in his room!
After that, I drove sis home to pick up mum and the children and took them home again. When the cleaning lady finished, we adjourned to the UBK hawker centre to buy food for the men at home. We sent mum, sis and nek home before making our way to Singapore Post Centre where AA had his Ramen fix @ Thai Kitchen. The food was good as usual and the place wasn't too crowded. Both Jess and Keith loved the sauce from the shark's fins soup and finished quite a lot of rice :)
Sunday was AA's birthday and we started the day with tuna fish sandwiches I made myself. Then, we went out to shop @ Turf City and had lunch there (Land of the Golden Arches again, sigh). Jess was a naughty little girl and kept feeding me fries! (Yes, she can finally feed other people now!) Both AA and I were so amused by her. However, Keith was naughty and refused to leave the place. In the end, I had to cart him off to the car.
During the trip, both of them fell asleep and woke by the time we reached home. That was bad because when we got home, both of them refused to sleep any more and insisted on being awake! AA was tired by then and fell asleep soon. I fiddled around with his new phone trying to set his caller groups. I got some success and unfortunately, just at this time, both of them got to poo and Jess went to disturb AA. I carried Keith away to the bathroom to wash his poo but Jess got so agitated that she started to cry loudly. This got AA all worked up and he started to slap her badly on the cheeks! My poor little darling got so scared that she cried even more, and resulted in more smacking!
In the meantime, hearing her cries, I was so agitated that I broke the sprinkler when I turned it on to wash Keith's bottom. *Sigh* In the end, I had to carry him off to wash his backside from the shower and then send him out quickly. Jess was hysterical at this time and quickly rushed to me and I hugged her while surveying her injuries. Then I undressed her and took her in to wash her bottom while AA releases his wrath on Keith and chased him when Keith rans off without wearing his diapers. (-_-") And another one gets another stern warning!
After washing up Jess, and everything has calmed down, AA took us to C's place at Bishan where we stayed a good 2-3 hours. The two evils were already tired out from all the drama at home and having missed their naps earlier, took the liberty of sleeping right at the place! I became Jess's couch for almost all the time we were there. Keith lasted a little longer but eventually, he fell down and slept right on C's floor! We had to carry him up to the sofa for the nap :P
Suntec was our next destination and we had noodles at this outlet at the basement. The price was reasonable, and there was this little play area where Keith occupied himself with LEGO before the food arrived. AA said we can go back there again.
We then proceeded to the new Toys R' Us and Keith and Jess had a field time there running around and using every toy. Keith was especially attracted to the round about wheel and kept standing at the spot :( I had to pry him off the area when I realised that he had pooed again :( Luckily, there was a very big and nicely equipped baby room just behind Toys R' Us! I was surprised to see one so nicely done up there and made a mental note to come back there again the next time round :)
Night was the usual screaming for milk sessions and whining. The 2 evils refused to sleep early and we fell asleep before they finally settled and slept. I woke when Jess fussed at 5 am and didn't really slept well after that. In the morning, Keith was again grouchy and Jess was all up and ready to go! She even waved bye bye to me when I dropped off with Keith at CC. Keith was good today and allowed another girl to lead him into CC :) Hopefully they are in a good mood!
