My Ships
It was pointed out to me that I haven't updated my Ship list in just about 2 years. The old post is here and I haven't included in this post the shows that I'm no longer watching/aren't currently on the air in this list since my preferences haven't really changed.
Chuck
Ship: Chuck/Sarah
Type: Primary
Canon? Oh yeah!
Why I like them: Because they're cute and pinning makes me ship.
Additional Information: Chuck's adorably geeky smart and Sarah's more street smart so they end up making a decent team, except when Chuck's inexperience almost gets them all killed. ;-)
The Big Bang Theory
Ship: Penny/Sheldon
Type: primary
Canon? Not really
Why I like them: Penny has quickly become one of the few people for whom Sheldon will actually break out of his comfort zone (and character growth is awesome). She is also willing to challenge him but at the same time delights in seeing him happy. I think if Sheldon ever actually has a relationship it will be with Penny or because of her.
Additional Information: I am not, in theory, against the Penny/Leonard relationship; however I think in practice it has done nothing to strengthen the show or the characters and seems to most consistently a negative influence on both characters.
Castle
Ship: Castle/Beckett
Type: primary
Canon? the UST is very overt
Why I like them: They both seem to be able to push through the other's walls and form connections, but they also know when to pull back.
Additional Information: Nathan is adorable and his Rick Castle is all charm esp with his family. I want to see more of Alexis.
NCIS
Ship: Tony/Ziva
Type: can they please just fuck and move on already?
Canon? sort of
Why I like them: I just love both of the characters individually.
Additional Information: The writers don't seem to be sure what direction they want to go with these two. There's plenty of flirting and tension, but I'm not sure they'd actually work in a real relationship. I think these two would be better as a "1 and Done" with minimal drama after - and sooner as opposed to even later when TPTB start feeling like they really have to pull something out of their asses as pay off for all the teasing.
Glee
Ship: Finn/Rachel
Type: primary
Canon? yep
Why I like them: There's just something about this jock/geek pairing that's adorably HS and perfect for Glee.
Additional Information:
Ship: Will/Emma
Type: primary
Canon? yep
Why I like them: They're very cute together.
Additional Information: There are some bumps ahead for these two to make a relationship work as they both have their issues/exs.
Psych
Ship: Shawn/Juliet
Type: primary
Canon? yep
Why I like them: They're very cute together.
Additional Information: Who doesn't love a fake psychic who's a real detective?
Bones
Ship: Booth/Brennan
Type: OTP
Canon? All except for the actually being together.
Why I like them: Because Booth isn't "That Guy" anymore and Brennan needs someone to pull her out of the lab occasionally. Also, they had chemistry right from the beginning.
Additional Information: David is HOT!
Ship: Hodgins/Angela
Type: Secondary
Canon? As canon as it gets.
Why I like them: Angela can listen to Hodgins ramble without being annoyed and she can even manage to shake him out of his own little world occasionally.
Additional Information: I like these two together, but if they don't work it out I won't be upset.
