Happy Thanksgiving to all!! Let us not forget what our puritan ancestors learned on this joyous holiday - to be thankful for what we have and to celebrate friends and family. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. But who doesn't love a day devoted to eating. I will wake up nice and early, eat maybe an apple and then proceed to fast all day until the feast. My dad and I will pretend to be Katie Couric and Al Roker at the Macy's parade and comment on how many lollipops can fit inside the snoopy balloon. I will eat until I get physically ill, then continue my reign as kick ass trivial pursuit champion. I'm already excited for next thanksgiving. The typicals back together after months of separation...clarks summit won't know what hit it.
Today was one of those classically useless school days before a break. Had early morning, which didnt suck as much as i thought it would. Maybe it was because I was wide awake, listening to the numa numa song early in the morning does alot for your energy. English was pretty decent today, as much as I hate to admit it Im beginning to enjoy that class. There were probably about 5 people and Sharrow read us some of his poetry and we chatted about literature. Such a chill day for english nerds like myself.
After mod 4 ben, erin, and i LEFT SCHOOL to go to feed a friend. One of the great things about being a senior - no one cares anymore. Feed a friend was fun (yay for alliteration!) I helped a Russian man carry food to his car, sadly I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I forgot how to say "happy thanksgiving", but i think he got the point. I bonded with Mickey, met some cool old people, threw stuff out the window, and bagged about three thousand potatoes. We made friends with a convict man. He was very friendly.
I'm going to go call the "squad" and inform them about the BAND FRONT SLEEPOVER. soo excited. we are going watch Bring it On and Drumline and talk about how much we love twirling sparkly things. Maybe we'll have a pillow fight...with batons. But I guess that would be a baton fight. I love colorguard. I am a dork.
I am thankful that I have friends that love me, even though I am a dork.
