I figure I better stop being a loser and stop avoiding the world just because I'm slightly miserable. It's selfish really, my friends are miserable too... and today, in hopefully a successful attempt to forget this stuff, me and the girlies are going to the wave pool in celebration of Jenny's birthday. We can pretend we're fine... which is good. Fair warning though, if you ask me any questions and it's none of your damn business, I am not afraid to get right up in your face and... cry, which I honestly think would make you feel worse than me hitting you (not that I ever would). I did return from the beach though... oblivious to what was going on, I will admit I had alotta fun.
We tore up that dance competition, and had alotta freakin' fun in the process. The hotel we stayed at was a Hilton, so that was nice and we had dance practice in the parking lot and swam in the pool with eeeveryone (Ryan's such a pimp), we hung out in the lobby till like midnight... had a crisis with a shirt and had to actually build one that turned out perfect, all went out to eat at Outback. My lord, I'd forgot about how hilarious that was, we kissed a napkin and put call me on it, gave it to some guy at the bar and we'd put Ry's number on it. Ah rather good, then we kicked everyone's butts at competition cuz we do in fact rule.
Sunday- Drove from competition to the beach. Ate Ultimate California pizza. Rachel enjoyed her very first look at the ocean, and we unpacked, nothing special.
Monday- Pooled it, saw Silvertide and Collective Soul at the House of Blues. Ate at that Dick's place. ("When I take off my wonder bra, I wonder where my boobs went.") Stood for five hours... not cool.
Tuesday- Avoided the sun so my mom's buttcheeks could recover from it. Went shopping, bought wristbands, we will avenge you Aaron haha. Went to the Aquarium... Rachel no like the aquarium, I was sad. Ate at Hardrock... witnessed hottest waiter alive. Met two overly-forward guys, scared us into staying in the room all evening.
Wednesday- Pooled it, oceaned it, all that beach Jazz. Ate at Carolina Roadhouse. Shopped Broadway, saw Kyle Riabko and The Wallflowers at House of Blues. Kyle... talented, and a goooood lookin' kid. Stood for... less hours.
Thursday- Pool, ordered a pizza... sooo good. Ate at Hardrock again, hott waiter actually spoke to me, and no he was not our waiter... either time, he talked to us the first time too though... ahh. Rachel and I were dropped off at the movie theater at Broadway, gonna go see Pants again. We were just about to go into the movie when Rachel realizes she left her purse at Hardrock. At this point she begins to sprint. So yes, that day we ran a mile in heat index 109 degree weather and we still made it back, sweat-soaked missing only 30 seconds of the actual movie.
Friday, pooled it, Medieval Times... amazing. Our knight won. Yay! Front row seats, I was a princess, so was my mom, Rachel got queen of Love and Beauty. Hello?! Good time. Favorite time, I loved it.
Saturday- Freakin' long ride home. Did Switch in a parking lot at some hokie gas station in Nowhereland, N.C. A black man saw us do it and had very many questions lol. He was really nice. Made it back and Rachie and I walked up to Subway (hey Benji), and ate some good food before we departed ways for the first time in over a week.
Sunday- Fiiinally got to see my baby after he got done at work. We sat in the floor by my front door and talked till 1:30 in the morning... I guess my mother was feeling nice. Watched recital dvds and whatnot with the lovely neighbor. I <3 Erin.
Monday- Did a whoooole lotta nothing. Went to bed at 5 am, Justin came here at 9, was super tired... stayed in my pajamas all day. Got my hair cut, saw a movie with Derv. Good movie.
Tuesday- Dance four hours at the buttcrack of dawn. Then hung out with Aaron, all day, he left around midnight. Guess mother was feeling nice again. Anywho, I'm a loser, I'll apologize for that, but the whole situation is fucked up and I'm glad he listened to me and was nice about everything cuz we're all hurtin.
Anywho... that's about it. Cept, I wish for just once I could sleep in without a telemarketer calling at 9:30, my dad calling at 10:30, and my mom calling me at 10:35 to ask why I didn't answer my dad's call. I just really have a dream that one day, just one, people will realize that Leigh Ann and the words 'sleep deprived' go hand in hand, so could ya please just let me sleep since I never have enough? But no, and you're too far into the sleeping process to get back into it after calls that late. Oh well, just tired.
Happy Birthday love (it was yesterday)!! Jenny <33
