OK, so the subject sucks...what do you want from me?
Monday...Advertising exam at 8 AM. I went for my LAST BREAKFAST at Chartwells! (the dining hall) They had my favorite breakfast potatoes, so I left breakfast on a good note. Took the exam, felt pretty good about it. I ended up with a B-, which isn't too bad. I've been studying pretty hard for these, but I think it's the way I study is what I need to change. I feel like I read and re-read enough to know that if I see it, I know it. Memorization is a better technique and that is what I SHOULD start doing.
After the exam I started studying for my next exam, the one tonight. After thorough studying, and after I felt comfortable, I decided to go to BED (not BED as in sleep, BED as in the club, you Sex and the City fanatics should know what it is, it's just the one in South Beach, not NYC) with Jill and Kara (and what was supposed to be Ashley). Well, Ashley overslept, and then after waiting in line for an hour, Jill and Kara got their IDs taken away because the bouncer knew they were fake. I hadn't given mine yet, so I still got to keep mine, but it still sucked because I really wanted to see what BED was like. So we ended up going for a late-night dinner at my FAVORITE Cafe Med. The calzone was DELICIOUS as usual. We then came back to campus and hung out in Charlotte and Ashley's room as a group one last time before Ashley and Kara departed early this morning.
Woke up this morning (haha, Sopranos) pretty much exhausted. Had a nice lunch with Jill and went back to studying for pretty much the rest of the day, excluding a dinner break. The exam was really tough because of the way the professor worded certain questions, even though I felt ready for it, and so I am not sure if I did as well as I had hoped. Once that exam was done, I went back to the library (my second home, or third if you count the home back in NJ) and studied for my NEXT (and last) exam that is on Thursday. Once all that was done, I packed some more stuff in my room, so depressing!
Tonight is going to be my last night in my dorm. It's definitely very weird. I'm going to spend the night at Nick's dorm tomorrow night because his roommate left, and it will be a nice thing for us to do to spend our last hours here on campus together. I can also pack up the majority of my bedding and put it in the car. I'm definitely going to miss the great friends I've made and I'm already looking forward to next year (as well as this summer).
So that's pretty much it. Tomorrow I am taking Jill and Charlotte to the airport and doing even more studying and packing. I don't want to stress myself out like I did today, but I feel like I might. I just want to get my final over and done with so I can pick Jen up at the airport, spend time with her, and then leave the next day!
I guess that's it. I'm going to allow this to be my last entry at University of Miami as a freshman, hehe. I'll let ya catch up with me when I get back to Old Bridge, NJ! It's been great!!
