TIRED!
It's been so crazy lately, I haven't gotten to update!
Let me start where I left off...
The surprise went AMAZINGLY well. My brother's plane was early. I called my mom at 10:30 to let her know that I "forgot my key." Boy was she PISSED! My brother and I arrive at the apartment, and I knock on the door. At this point, I am smiling and laughing because my brother is RIGHT THERE. She opens the door, I walk in and say hi, and she closes it! Not even a minute later, there was a knock. My mom goes, "Who is that?" And I go, "Let's see!" I open up the door, and THERE'S MY BROTHER!!! She was in SUCH a state of shock and tears, that she didn't even say hi to him until about five minutes after he walked in!! THE PLAN WORKED FLAWLESSLY!!!
Once my mom calmed down, and after talking for a few minutes, my mom decided to go to bed. I decided to go to Cathode one last time with the boys. As usual, I planned on not drinking but ended up having two Blue Long Islands anyway. It turned out to be a pretty fun night!
Thursday wasn't too much. I don't even remember it anymore, haha. I probably did some studying. Friday also some studying. Nick and I went to dinner at Bahama Breeze one last time before the summer. I had plans to do Coli one last time, but that didn't work out. Nick and I decided to rent a horror movie. The only thing that sounded slightly good was this movie called "The Pool." Well! The beginning of the movie started the SAME way "Scream" did, so that was just annoying. The "high school" kids looking like they were about thirty years old. Ten minutes into the movie, we just turned it off.
Let's see...Saturday. Tried to wake up somewhat early. Kinda worked. Got my haircut and studied all day. My mom, brother, and grandma all came down and we ate on South Beach.
This morning around 6:30 the fire alarm decides to go off. I then got to spend over an hour outside extremely exhausted. After returning to sleep a little bit before 8, I woke up, went to breakfast, and went up to my mom's. Did some studying until she and my brother came up from the pool. She opened up my gift (a really cute floor lamp, she needed one) and she was VERY happy. We then went out to this restaurant and it was AMAZING. I literally did not want to stop eating. After dinner, I came back to campus and studied with Charlotte for a bit. Now, I'm doing this and thinking about how in less then a week I'm going to be home. It's been such a great year. I'm excited to go home, but I'm also upset about it, just because I am going to miss so many people and so many things. I'm DEFINITELY exited for my road trip with Jen back up to New Jersey though!!!!!
That's pretty much it with me. I have an exam tomorrow morning, Tuesday night, and Thursday. NOT FUN.
