Day 05 - A song that reminds you of somewhere
This isn't an easy one for me. A lot of songs bring to mind some particular time I heard that song when I was in the car driving some place. Forgettable pop songs that were played to death sometimes remind me of whichever business trip I was on when the song made it big... but I'm kinda snobby about music sometimes, so I won't be seen in public posting one of those. Many, many, many songs remind me of Texas, because it really is kind of a special place, once you ignore some of their politicians & the dorks on the textbook committee.
I'll pick this one because a.) the song kicks ass and b.) it does kinda remind me of that time in 1997 when I was stuck in a small Appalachian town for like five months, automating a cheese factory owned by a Canadian mafioso. Here's a young Steve Earle singing Copperhead Road:
