Characters: !OU Dick GraysonBatman, Dean Winchester, !Wee Sam Winchester
When: Sometime during the zombie invasion!
Where: Inside the complex, in a corridor located at the east wing.
What:
Batman and Dean both promised eight year old Sam they'd come look for him. Little Sammy's scared and confused and wants his brother NAOW. Dean's worried as an older brother ever gets about this, because his Sam arrived to the Ring at a much younger age than expected. Batman's also concerned about the poor kid, and he's also concerned about not getting kicked where the sun doesn't shine.
Warnings/Notes: Some language and awkwardness that's sure to come from Dean. Maybe more warnings to come, but that's all for now until further notice. Enjoy the social awkwardness, folks.
Dean was pushing himself to go as fast as possible. In the distance, he believed he heard the familiar hungry moans of the undead while on the move. Not good. Sam had arrived to the Ring as a child, too young to face a group of those smelly freaks on his own. This fact had him tightly wound up and wired. No matter how old or young Sam was, he was still his brother. And Dean had forever promised himself from a very young age onward that he'd protect him.
Zombies moved at a slow pace, but Dean said for Sam to stay put. How could he not be berating himself as a screw up at a crazy time such as this?!
Okay think. THINK. Two rights, a left, then straight. Two rights, a left, then straight... Dean remembered and remained focused on where to go. On the 3-D map, Sam was just one of the several blinking dots that were people, blinking dots of a different color representing the zombies. He hadn't seen any near Sam's location, but that wouldn't last for very long.
His heavy footsteps echoed and bounced off the walls around him as he kept going, knowing that he wasn't going to stop until he'd see the boy's face who belonged to the voice that's never left his memories.
