Hilde was making more rounds of the place when she heard the frustrated yells. She came quickly but quietly to the conference room where a strangely familiar face stood.

"Ah... Dr. Brennan?" she had already met this woman... but something was off. She seemed so collected before, why did she seem so out of sorts now? This woman seemed not to understand what was going on while the previous Brennan Hilde had met, had everything all under control. Unless this was just some psychotic episode. That didn't seem to be the case.

Slowly she stepped forward, still hidden by shadows but able to be seen if Temperance knew where to look. Hilde waited for the woman to stop shouting and come to some pause before stepping out totally. "There's no need to shout..."

Well, that was probably a huge lie. There was plenty reason, all of which demanded to be indulged.

"No. There isn't."

At the door stood a young humanoid. Blond, green skinned and purple, almost metallic, glossy eyes, and a skintight outfit and armor, a symbol of three white circles on both his forehead and chest. He observed the two with a stone cold, analytical gaze as he passed through the the threshold and stepped towards them.

"It is clear we have been taken to this underground facility against our will. It is imperative that we discover who is responsible and why." He gave a reassuring glance to Brennan, or as reassuring as he could give, then turned to Hilde. "I presume you may be able to help us in that regard."

Brennan turned around when she heard someone talking to her. They addressed her by name, but she had never seen them before in her life.

"I am sorry, but I do not know who you are" she said stiffly, unsure what was going on. "or how you, and whoever is speaking over the loudspeaker, know who I am."

She was about to protest to the woman that she was surely NOT shouting, when they were both interrupted by a person in the strangest costume she had ever seen. Surely this was all some ridiculous dream due to her car accident or maybe she had been dropped off at one of those fantasy conventions. She had seen people in all matter of bizarre costumes there.

She looked from one to the other as the green man spoke. In spite of the getup, he was at least rational-sounding. "At this point I cannot say that anything about this situation is clear" she stated. "However, I agree that I would like to find out who brought me here and why."

Whoa, where did the new guy come from? And why was the computer not responding to him as well? He seemed to know some things already but he was asking for more information... she was willing to give what she could ( ... )

Brainiac 5 had been summoned here from the pod room that he had 'awoken' from. The computer, he imagined, had visual and audio sensors, and what Hilde had been saying must have been sufficient enough that it did not need to repeat it self for a third time ( ... )

Brennan listened intently to both of their explanations. Trying to take in everything they were saying and resisting the urge to start trying to tell them about the improbability and illogicality of things like supercomputers, time travel and ring planets. Clearly there was something strange going on here and either these people were just as clueless and making up their own ideas, or they were more advanced in science than she was. Which was saying something.

"Let's say for a moment that time travel is possible" she posited. Highly respected physicists believe that one day it will be, so it is not too far of a leap. "What is the point of bringing us here, along with pieces of our 'worlds' for that matter."

"Like I said, I haven't come across any plan or program indicating who or what to bring. As far as I can tell this is all a matter of chance. Hilde looked at the green boy while she answered the other Brennan. He had a point. She hadn't seen any random animals or inbred morons here, that must show for something, still there lacked any particular pattern to the date or arrival or the people arriving. She didn't really care for this guy's attitude. Not that he was being rude but his was certainly calling her out intellect-wise.

"Are you from the future or something?" she asked, knowing he must be from a world very alien to her own to be looking like that. Perhaps he had a better head to work around this place for it... it didn't mean she took well to people undermining her reports or conclusions. It brought her back to the days on the OZ military base with the trainees... all obnoxious and seeing what they could get away with. It rubbed her the wrong way ( ... )

"If you require it, I'd be willing to explain the technology, equations, and functions behind our time bubble technology, and if possible, demonstrate." Brainy offered to Brennan as she humored the idea.

He listened to both of the women, placing his arms behind his back in a nonchalant manner. "Given the mega structure size of the ring, I suspect we may be here for sustaining the ring, as you suggest, though perhaps for other reasons. If there is someone in charge of the ring, we may be here as part of a collection." As dark as it seemed, it was very plausible. Brainiac 5 had personal experience with that kind of motive.

To Hilde's inquiry, he nodded. "Yes. I was brought online in the 31st century."

"I would be very interested in hearing about your time-transport technology and the science behind it" she told the strange man. "Once I wrap my brain around this place first and things like the 31st century, aliens and ring planets."

She focused back on the woman. "You said that parts of our 'world' come here with us. How would I find out what came with me? And how did you know my name? Did the computer tell you?" That small detail was still nagging at her. She had to remain focused on the small pieces of this puzzle or she would become completely overwhelmed.

Hilde nodded in agreement with Brennan, wanting to understand where this guy got his smarts too.

"Like I said before, the computer has a presentation of information for you. It already knows your name and such. Your respective worlds should be playing shortly there in the center." she motioned to the central projector/module. "Once we get the names of what was brought here we can look them up on the terminals outside here and actually go there, if you like."

As to how she knew Brennan's name... well, rather than telling what would inevitably be a poor lie, she chose to allow the woman to think the computer was behind it. Not that Hilde was incapable or above lying when she needed to. She just...really didn't want to in this instance.

Brainy nodded curtly to Brennan and allowed the two women their conversational space as he focused more on the presentation while still observing and watching the presentation. He input a few terms into the unit and opened a smaller window to examine. Colu, his homeworld, received no results, which very much a relief for the young alien.

Next, he typed in New Metropolis. "Bingo." He said under his breath, an expression Clark had once used during his first junction within the legion. He gazed upon the screen for a few minutes eyes narrowed at the sight on the screen. New Metropolis, like it was when he left it for a tour in space to battle Imperiex and the Dominator threat- in ruins. It appeared he could do nothing, for the moment, and he need not advertise a failure of this magnitude. He minimized the window and deleted it, turning back to the two women.

Brennan listened to the woman's explanation. "So are you saying that my apartment could show up here, or the building where I work?" That just seemed absolutely ridiculous, although not much more so than the fact that she was here. "What about the people I know?" She would not wish her friends and co-workers to be stuck in this place as well, but if they were here anyway she would want to know.

She heard the strange man's exclamation and turned to see what he was doing. Apparently he had found his home on the console. "What did you find?" she asked him.

Directly in response to Brennan's inquiry, he replied: "Evidence that supports Hilde's Theory." He nodded curtly to Hilde, as to acknowledge her. Reluctantly, he made a few key strokes, bringing New Metropolis back onto screen. "This is the home of the Legion, New Metropolis. As you can see, it has come into some disrepair."

Remaining at the screen, he typed in another few words and after a moment of searching through the variables, he came across a file that seemed to best match Brennan. "I've analyzed possible locations. Do these look familiar?" On screen were three different locations.

[OOC: Please to be filling in the details.]

Hilde looked at the screen, seeing unfamiliar ruins and then unfamilair city-scapes. She looked at the green guy. "It wasn't a theory." she said, a tad irritated. Who was this guy, anyway?

"Not anymore, no." He concurred. "I appreciate your assistance, although I'm much more inclined to confirm your facts through observing the situation first hand. I'd appreciate your paitence with the matter." He had no need for such an attitude. He was new here, was he not? Not everything could be accepted through spoken word alone.

"Unless..." he stepped away from the console, "Did you intend to oversee this orientation?" Was he serious, or sarcastic? No physical cues, anyway.

Brennan looked at the images the man had brought up at the screen. "Yes, they are familiar" she said as she watched images of the lab at the Jeffersonian, her apartment and surprisingly Booth's apartment scroll by on the monitor. "The last one though is where my partner lives, not me. I am unsure why the computer would choose to replicate his place of residence."

Of course, she had no idea why anything was happening the way it was at the moment.
