One minute Brennan was driving home from having dinner with Booth, Dr. Wyatt and Sweets at Booth's apartment and the next she felt like someone had grabbed her and pulled her into a deep blackness. She thought maybe another car had hit her, but suddenly things became bright again and after her eyes readjusted she realized she was in an entirely unfamiliar place. Frowning, she removed herself from the glass enclosure in which she found herself and looked around in confusion.
"Hello!?" she called out and received no answer. Her surroundings were sterile and almost lab-like but held no clues as to where she was. It was like nowhere she had ever seen. She made her way cautiously through the only possible exit of the room, thinking to herself that this is why she needs a gun. The door opened into a much larger, but no less strange-looking area that was also unoccupied.
"Welcome Dr. Brennan" an articulate, but clearly computerized voice came from seemingly nowhere.
She looked for a possible hidden human component and found none.
"I don't know who you are, but I demand that someone tell me where you have brought me and why" she stated, arms crossed over her chest. Maybe she had been in an accident. Could someone have run her off the road in order to kidnapped her? Or was she possibly hallucinating this place while on the side of the road bleeding out?
"Please report for debriefing" the computerized voice came again.
She knitted her brow in confusion. "Debriefing of what!?" she asked the empty room, clearly frustrated with the whole situation. "I am not doing any such thing until an actual person can tell me what the hell is going on."
